Spreckelsville Water Outage Scheduled

The Maui Department of Water Supply has scheduled a water outage in the Spreckelsville area this weekend while crews conduct repairs to a leaking four-inch waterline at the Kahului Airport.

The scheduled outage will begin at midnight on Saturday, October 20, and is scheduled for completion by 5 a.m. on Sunday, October 21, 2012.

The affected area includes Stable Road (Sprecklesville Beach Road), Waipua Place, Ulupua Place, Nonohe Place, Makahiki Street, Kealakai Place, Paani Place, Cane Place, Laulea Place, Alakapa Place, the Kaunoa Senior Center, and the Maui Country Club.

DWS Adminstrative Officer, Jacky Takakura said customers have been notified, and are asked to call the DWS 24-hour service line at 270-7633 only if a water problem occurs.
