BRIEF: Governor Recovering from Shoulder Surgery

Governor Neil Abercrombie today reported that the elective surgery he underwent on Wednesday to address an existing shoulder injury was a success.
Officials from the governor’s office say he is in the recovery phase, which may require rescheduling of select events on Friday.

The governor is attending to state business from his residence and expects to be back in the gym and office soon, according to a press statement issued today.
