‘Coach Mac’ to Speak at Hard Naks Speed Camps
Legendary University of Utah college football coach Ron McBride will be on the island Saturday to speak to participants of the Hard Naks Speed Camps at 10:30 a.m., at the Maui Tropical Plantation.
McBride, also known as “Coach Mac,” has more than 40 years of coaching experience, including 13 years as head coach at the University of Utah. In 2011, he retired as head coach at Weber State University. McBride was the head coach during Cody Nakamura’s college football career at Weber State University. Nakamura is the founder of Hard Naks Speed Camps.
Elementary students camps will run from 8- 9 a.m. Intermediate students from 9-10:30 a.m. High school students from 10:30 to noon. All ages, schools and athletes are invited to participate.
