10 Vehicle Thefts on Maui March 31 to April 6, 2013

There were a total of 10 vehicle thefts on Maui in the seven day period between March 31 and April 6, 2013.

The cases include (2) incidents in Haʻikū, (2) in Kahului, (3) Kīhei, (1) Lāhainā, and (2) in Wailuku.

One of the 10 stolen vehicles has since been recovered.

A complete run-down of incidents is listed below:

Haʻikū:

• Thursday, April 4, 2013, 5 a.m.:  Puʻuomaile Road.  2012 Red and Whit Honda moped.  VIN: JH2HE0118CK100732.
• Sunday, March 31, 2013, 10:18 a.m.:  Manawai Place.  2012 Green Kawasaki motorcycle.  VIN: JKAKXGFCXCA005892.

Kahului:

• Thursday, April 4, 2013, 5:45 p.m.:  Kaʻahumanu Avenue at the University of Hawaiʻi Maui College fronting the Kaʻaʻike building.  2008 Red and White Honda motorcycle.  VIN: JH2MD3371780K003703.
• Friday, April 5, 2013, 1:46 p.m.:  Vevau Street at the University of Hawaiʻi Maui College dorms.  2011 Red Kaitong motorcycle/moped.  VIN: LYDTCBPC5B15021.

Kīhei:

• Monday, April 1, 2013, 10 p.m.:  South Kīhei Road at the Kīhei Boat Ramp.  2000 Green Toyota Tacoma.  License: MNZ814.  VIN: 4TAWM72N1YZ678842.
• Thursday, April 4, 2013, 9 p.m.:  Waimahaihai Street.  1995 White Toyota 4Runner.  License:  MBT401.  VIN: JT3VN29V4S0067788.
• Saturday, April 6, 2013, 10:08 p.m.:  Hālili Lane at the Villas at Kenolio.  1991 White Toyota Camry.  License: LBC149. VIN: JT2VV21E5M3023994.

Lāhainā:

• Monday, April 1, 2013, 1:30 p.m.:  Kahoma Street.  1989 Gray Jeep.  License: MSN580.  VIN: 2J4FY49M3KJ108937.  RECOVERED.

Wailuku:

• Thursday, April 4, 2013, 5:11 p.m.:  Hala Place at the Lower Main Street intersection.  Silver and Black moped.
• Monday, April 1, 2013, 8:36 a.m.:  Nāpua Street.  2006 White and Black Jeep Wrangler.  License: CM2080.  VIN: 1J4FA49049S46P761532.
