Senator Shan Tsutsui of Maui along with Mayor Charmaine Tavares and the County of Maui join forces to host the UH Manoa men’s volleyball team’s last game of a five-week homestand this weekend on the Valley Isle.
The Warriors face off against Brigham Young University’s Cougars at the War Memorial Gym in Wailuku at 5 p.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2010.
The Warriors (8-5, 4-4 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation-MPSF) are coming off a two-match sweep of NAIA’s Hope International last weekend and have not played an MPSF match since playing UCLA on Feb. 4 & 5, at the Stan Sheriff Center. The fourth-ranked Cougars (9-4, 7-3) swept a two-match series at UC San Diego last week to move atop the MPSF standings at 7-3. This week’s matches mark BYU’s fourth straight MPSF road series, which the Cougars are currently 4-2.
Tickets are $8 for adults and $3 for children and can be purchased at our own Pacific Radio Group offices located at 311 Ano Street in Kahului. Tickets are limited and are available on a first come, first serve basis.
