NOTICE TO MOTORISTS
EMERGENCY CULVERT REPAIR OF MAKENA ALANUI DRIVE

Starting August 17, 2026, Phase 1 of the culvert improvements on will begin on Makena Alanui Drive. The northbound roadway 250ft south of the intersection between Makena Alanui Drive and Kaukahi Street will be affected. The northbound bike lane will continue to be closed and only the northbound traffic will be shifted by cones but continue to be open. This will be in effect from August 17th through the 18th of September from the hours of 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. All members of the public will continue to have access. Signage will be set up in both directions to warn traveling members of the public.

MOTORISTS ARE ADVISED TO EXERCISE EXTREME CAUTION THROUGH THE WORK ZONE AND THE LANE SHIFTS. BE ADVISED TO EXPECT DELAYS AND FOLLOW ALL TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNS, DEVICES AND DETOUR SIGNS THROUGH THE AREA.
