On June 6th, The Institute for Native Pacific Education and Culture (INPEACE) and its Kaulele program are hosting a grand opening celebration for their newest exhibit, Explorers of Lawai‘a. Guests can enjoy keiki art activities, cultural workshops, and demonstrations for the entire family.
Kaulele is a traveling pop-up science center that provides STEM learning activities for the
entire ‘ohana. The exhibit is open daily from 11:00am - 7:00pm through July 6th. In addition to
the Explorers of Lawai‘a exhibit, two additional interactive culture and science exhibits will be
on display including Loko Iʻa (fishponds) and Kaulana Mahina (Hawaiian Lunar Calendar).
Admission is free for the ‘ohana to kilo (observe), ‘imi loa (explore), and noi‘i (investigate).
