Join the Maui County Committee on the Status of Women for a day of celebrating and enhancing women's health. This empowering gathering focuses on the feminine journey from birth to rebirth, providing valuable insights, connections, and expereinces to inspire positive change in your life.
We draw inspiration from Maui's great female chiefs and queens such as Keopualani and Ka'ahumanu, and honor the legacy of Kapiolani, Emma, and Lili'uokalani. These highly educated, people's champions, deeply lovedknowledge and werer skilled in countless ways. We also revere the profound indluence of female deities like Papahanaumoku, Kihawahine, Pele, Hina, Laka, Poliahu and many others. Their legacy reminds us of the importance of those who've come before us and paved the way.
During this time of great change, we remember the possibilities for our communities when we stay grounded in aloha, tap into our creativity, and navigate the rough seas together.
