SUMMER INTENSIVE (2 days: STREET STYLE ART): TWEENS & TEENS (Ages 11+): JUNE

Explore bold design, perspective drawing, and expressive lettering in this hands-on workshop led by teaching artist Cara Griffin. Students will create their own graffiti-inspired name or phrase using sketching techniques, acrylic paint, and paint markers, then layer in collage materials for added depth and personal style. 

The class will cover fundamentals such as single-point perspective, layout, color contrast, and lettering styles including bubble and block fonts. Students will complete a vibrant mixed-media artwork that reflects their unique voice. Students are encouraged to bring images of street art or lettering they admire, as well as found materials to incorporate into their collage.
