Join us for a special evening introducing Waiakoa, Anthony Pfluke’s new trio with Tarvin Makia and Ethan Villanueva, and educating on the history and significance of the lei through music and talk story!
Lei Day is May Day in Hawai`i!, Celebrated annually on May 1st since 1928, Lei Day is a cultural celebration of the lei—a symbol of aloha, love, respect, and friendship. Lei Day has blossomed into a beloved tradition. Throughout the Islands, festivals and events are held to commemorate the history and significance of lei.
