Maui Okinawa Kenjin Kai, along with co-sponsor Maui Mall Village, will hold its Maui Okinawan Festival on Saturday, September 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Maui Mall in Kahului. The festival will start off with cooking demonstrations in the culture room at 10:00 and continue with great entertainment from Maui and Oahu at the main stage at 11:00. There will also be cultural displays; a mini craft fair; professional photo sessions in traditional Okinawan wear; and lots of ono food - pig's feet soup, Okinawan pork plate lunch, chow fun, andagi, baked goods and more! The Okinawan Genealogical Society of Hawaii will also be here helping people connect to their family’s past generations.

Maui Okinawa Kenjin Kai welcomes all Uchinanchu and Uchinanchu-at-heart!  Mark your calendars and plan on spending the day, Saturday the 21st, at the Maui Okinawan Festival at Maui Mall Village!
