The HDS Tooth Fairy Fun Day, a popular annual event on O‘ahu that makes oral health education fun for keiki, is coming to Maui this summer. HDS, the state’s leading dental benefits provider, has held the HDS Tooth Fairy Fun Day for nearly 20 years.

The HDS Tooth Fairy Fun Day will be at the Maui Ocean Center, 192 Mā‘alaea Road in Wailuku on Sunday, June 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is free for kama‘āina.

“The HDS Tooth Fairy and others in the HDS ‘ohana are looking forward to giving Maui families more reasons to smile,” said Dr. Diane Paloma, HDS president and CEO. “We appreciate our partnership with the Maui Ocean Center and the beautiful venue for this exciting event.”

The HDS Tooth Fairy will be at the event to take photos with children, give out prizes, and share valuable oral health tips with parents. There will also be fun oral health games and exhibits for keiki to learn how to take care of their teeth.

HDS is also looking for volunteers who are at least 15 years old to help with the games. High school and college students interested in pursuing a career in the dental profession may volunteer to help with the free dental screenings alongside HDS-participating Maui dentists.
