The Paia Mantokuji Soto Zen Mission has its 2026 Obon festivities on Saturday, July 11.  Food concessions open at 5:30 pm with  traditional local favorites like chow fun, nishime bowl, bento, chili, baked goods, and more.  There will be taiko performances by Zenshin Daiko at 6:00 pm and then Maui Taiko at 6:30 pm.  The Bon dancing begins at 7:00 pm.

An Obon service will be conducted in the temple on Friday, July 10 at 6:00 pm.
