Ashtanga Yoga Practice is a therapeutic approach that is personalized to meet each individuals needs, abilities, strength, mobility and more. Teachings are done in a one on one approach in a small group setting of practitioners breathing together. All are Welcome to practice yoga.
To practice and study Yoga with Christina, a commitment of minimum 3 days a week for one month is required to begin practice and study with Christina Martini at the shala.
New students with no mysore experience will be guided the first month to Intro to Ashtanga Yoga 3 x a week for one hour to prepare for Individual daily Mysore full practice. 1/2 series of primary , yoga chikitsa.
The vinyasa flow is breath guided to synchronize with the movement of the postures.This class is perfect to learn the primary series sequence of postures. Emphasis on the ujjayi breath, nine drishti,three bandhas andashtanga 8 limbs.
Perfect for No experience, Beginners and Established practitioners with time constraints.1/2 Primary series and additional postures subject to class attendance will be covered in this class.
New Practitioners will explore The authentic practice and flow of the Surya Namaskaras, Basic standing and seated postures taught in traditional Vinyasa method. Physically and Stamina building of Flowing postures taught in an adapted way if needed.
