Roots Reborn, a grassroots organization dedicated to empowering and uplifting Maui’s migrant and immigrant communities, is thrilled to invite you to our 2nd Annual Día de los Muertos Celebration! Join us on Saturday, November 2nd, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the JW Cameron Center in Wailuku for an unforgettable evening of cultural traditions.

This family-friendly event will feature a live mariachi performance, folkorico dance, delicious food, a bustling mercadito (a little market), and a special keiki zone featuring activities ran by community organizations. Come celebrate with us as we honor the rich culture of Día de los Muertos and foster unity within our community! Tickets can be purchased here.

We’d love for you to be part of this celebration in any way that feels meaningful to you:

  1. Volunteer: Help us bring this event to life by assisting with set-up, clean-up, or event activities.
  2. Keiki Booth: Create a fun and engaging booth for the keiki (children) to enjoy!
  3. Mercadito Booth: Showcase your business or craft at our little market and connect with the community.
  4. Food Vending: Share your delicious food with attendees by setting up a food vendor stall.
