The 25th Annual Pā‘ia Bay Beachfest is presented by Positively+KAI (Kai Lenny) with Marlon Tumacder, PYCC alumni and staff, and community-minded individuals and businesses. This event is the only one of its kind at Pā‘ia Bay and is a tradition for generations of Maui board-riders.
The 25th Annual Pā‘ia Bay Beachfest is a fun and family-friendly showcase for Maui’s bodyboarders and surfers to boast their style, tricks, and barrel-riding aptitude. Bodyboarding and soft-top surfing divisions are open for all ages,
The first heat is in the water at 8:00 AM following the event blessing ceremony and dedication.
All Pā‘ia Bay Beachfest registration will be done online only at www.pyccmaui.org. Registration is currently open and will close on Thursday January 19th 2023. Families and friends can follow the score and schedule during the event from www.pyccmaui.org. All registration and event information are at pyccmaui.org. The event is $30 to enter, and $10 per additional division. Divisions will be strictly split by age. Competitors receive a collectible tee-shirt and swag from our sponsors.
The 25th Annual Pā‘ia Bay Beachfest features special guests, emcees, and judges, including world-champion waterman Kai Lenny. Two days of competitive wave-riding will be followed by an awards ceremony on Sunday January 22nd at sunset.
Thanks to the generous support of Positively+KAI and many other local sponsors, competitors will have the chance to take home some incredible gear and prizes.
This is an alcohol, drug, and nicotine -free event.
