Slappy Cakes Maui is celebrating 13 years of breakfast fun on Maui with special anniversary surprises, new DIY pancake combos including the Cookie Monster and Slappy Birthday creations, and a June Pancake Art Contest for the funniest pancake creation. Guests can post their pancake art on Instagram throughout the month for a chance to win prizes.

Since opening in West Maui, Slappy Cakes Maui has become a favorite destination for both visitors and kama‘āina, known for its one-of-a-kind DIY pancake experience where guests can “Play With Your Food” by creating pancakes right at their table.

Still family owned and operated by brother and sister team Adam and Ali, Slappy Cakes Maui continues to evolve while staying true to the playful spirit and welcoming atmosphere that has made it a longtime Maui favorite.

To celebrate its 13th anniversary, the beloved breakfast spot is unveiling a refreshed menu that builds on the fun, interactive experience guests have come to love while continuing to serve longtime guest favorites.

Menu staples like the Slappy Moco, topped with rich brown gravy and mushrooms, and the Country Fried Steak smothered in housemade sausage gravy remain fan favorites. New DIY pancake combo creations include the playful Cookie Monster combo featuring chocolate batter, cookie crumbles, white chocolate chips, and whipped cream, and the festive Slappy Birthday combo made with buttermilk batter, colorful sprinkles, chocolate chips, and whipped cream.

In addition to its signature offerings, Slappy Cakes Maui will continue serving its popular gluten-free and vegan batter options along with a wide variety of toppings and fixings that allow guests to customize their creations. Guests can also enjoy the restaurant’s full bar, which features signature breakfast cocktails, mimosas, and its popular housemade Bloody Mary.

As a mahalo to the local community, Slappy Cakes Maui proudly offers kama‘āina guests a 10% discount year-round.

Throughout the month of June, guests can participate in a Pancake Art Contest by posting their funniest pancake creations on Instagram @slappycakes for a chance to win prizes.

On Saturday, June 13, we launch our new menu. Guests are invited to join the anniversary celebration throughout June and receive a special surprise in honor of Slappy Cakes Maui’s 13th birthday!
