Hoʻi i ka Mole: return to the roots. Enjoy this special performance of two Kīhei born-and-raised musicians returning home for a stellar evening of original music, and favorites of many genres in the beautifully intimate setting of ProArts Maui. Anthony Pfluke was taught by Kala'e, his brother Kamaka, and father Rama Camarillo since 12 years ago in Kīhei, and this show represents the flow of music being passed down through generations, kept alive by Maui’s songs & stores, honoring the legacies of musicians past while continuing traditioninto the future.

About Anthony Pfluke and Kala'e Camarillo:
Born and raised in Waiakoa (Kīhei), Maui, Anthony has been rooted in Hawaiian music from an early age, forging an original path perpetuating the music of his home. His latest all-original album We Will Rise was a finalist in the Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards. Writing and performing hawaiian, contemporary, and reggae-influenced music on the ‘Ukulele, and 12 & 6 string Kīho‘alu (Slack key Guitar), Anthony has entertained across Hawai‘i, Japan, and the US, playing with some of Hawai‘i’s most iconic musicians such as Henry Kapono, Brother Noland, George Kahumoku Jr., Barry Flanagan, and many more. Anthonyʻs latest single Lahaina Strong is in dedication to those affected by the 2023 Lahaina fire, with hopes of a brighter future for Maui, putting it’s people first. This Nā Hōkū Hanohano finalist is a rising star in the islands and definitely one to watch!
