Get ready for a howlin’ good time at South Maui Gardens' annual Halloween Pet Parade & Keiki Costume Contest on Thursday, October 31st from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM!
Bring your furry friends, little ghouls, and spooky squad for an epic night of costumes, music, and all things Halloween! We’re teaming up with the Maui Humane Society for this event, and they’ll be bringing some of their adorable foster pups who are available for adoption (and will also be joining us in the pet parade). PLUS, you can stop by their booth to make donations and support a great local cause.
As a reminder ALL PETS must be on a leash, so everyone stays safe and happy.
WHAT’S HAPPENING: (see full schedule below)
Our Pet Parade kicks off at 6:30 PM, featuring Maui Humane Society foster dogs and YOUR dressed-up pets.
Right after, the Costume Contest will run from 6:45 PM to 7:35 PM, with categories for:
Stick around for the big announcements at 7:00 PM (pets) and 7:35 PM (keiki & group) for our 1st place and runner-up winners in each category! Special prizes like food truck gift cards and candy will be up for grabs!
Throughout the night, enjoy some good vibes with a DJ spinning spooky tunes and yard games to keep the fun going!
Whether you’re competing in the costume contest or just here for the good vibes, this is a FREE community event, and everyone’s invited! So, grab your costume (and your pet's) and let’s have some Halloween fun in the gardens. We’ll also be passing out candy, so make sure to bring a treat bag!
PRO TIP: Show up early to stroll around the gardens, grab delicious food from the food trucks, and check out all the awesome costumes!
