Nā Leo Pūlama o Maui will proudly host their 39th Annual Hoʻomau Benefit Concert on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the Maui Nui Botanical Gardens from 9:00 a.m. to sunset.
This beloved community celebration will feature performances by the keiki of Pūnana Leo o Maui, keynote speakers, hālau hula, and an exciting line-up of local entertainers. Attendees can enjoy Hawaiian crafters, cultural demonstrators, and local business vendors from across the islands, along with ‘ono food booths and a fun-filled keiki zone. Pūnana Leo o Maui will also host both a silent and live auction to support its Hawaiian language immersion program.
Nā Leo Pūlama o Maui, a parent-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is dedicated to supporting the mission and operations of Pūnana Leo o Maui, the Hawaiian language immersion preschool located in Kahului. Each year, Hoʻomau welcomes over 4,000 attendees who travel near and far to celebrate the perpetuation of ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi.
Hide the net in the deep sea, and food will come for the family.
This proverb reminds us that true sustenance, both spiritual and physical, comes from thoughtful preparation, unity, and trust in the process. By “hiding the net,” we are reminded to do the quiet work of nurturing our language, culture, and community. In doing so, we ensure that the harvest, our keiki, our ʻohana, and our future, will thrive for generations to come.
Tickets: $20 presale | $25 at the door
