Whale Tales is an annual multi-day event hosted by Whale Trust and is a signature event of The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua. Each year, we bring together scientists, photographers, conservationists, and whale enthusiasts to celebrate and learn about the latest discoveries about humpback whales and marine life.

Through presentations, storytelling, and interactive sessions, Whale Tales offers an unparalleled opportunity to connect with leading experts and gain insights into the latest research and discoveries.

We have limited space available, so make sure to register beforehand to reserve your spot!

Registration is donation based with a suggested donation of $75.

Whale Trust is committed to maintaining equitable access to Whale Tales and offers complimentary and sliding scale registration to anyone not in a position to make the full suggested donation. We welcome students and Kama’aina to pay as little or as much as they feel comfortable with.

Proceeds from this event will go to our Beneficiary Fund to support whale research and education. Since the event’s inception, we have raised over $1.2 million. We encourage Hawaii visitors to pay the suggested donation.
