Jazz Maui presents Sunset Jazz on Sunday, November 9, 2025 5-7pm at the Maui Ku’ia Estate Chocolate Factory, 78 Ulupono Street in Lahaina featuring the Mark Johnstone Quartet: drummer Howie Rentzer; David Graber, bass; Steve Boynton, guitar; and Mark Johnstone, keys. The Quartet is featuring hard-swinging, dynamic straight ahead jazz. Multi-instrumentalist Mark Johnstone is best known for his keyboard work with the Grammy- nominated Mick Fleetwood Blues Band and The Island Rumors Band. He can also be found in a variety of settings as a soloist or sideman, displaying skills on keys, guitar, harmonica and vocals. While working and touring with Mick Fleetwood he shared the stage with many accomplished artists such as Carlos Santana, Willie Nelson, John Mayall, Michael MacDonald, Alice Cooper, Steven Tyler, Dave Mason, Pat Simmons, Sammy Hagar and many more.

Held in the tropical ambience of the Chocolate Factory’s upstairs open-air lounge,  Sunset Jazz concert goers can enjoy great jazz and sunset views, along with their purchases of award-winning chocolate and their choice of beverages from an extensive selection of wine, spirits and beer. A café menu also offers cheese plates, sweet treats and savory snacks for purchase.

Maui Ku’ia Estate Chocolate, through its Chocolate Laulima program, supports local nonprofit organizations such as Arts Education for Children Group/Jazz Maui. Proceeds from concert ticket sales benefit Jazz Maui’s music education programs.

 Jazz Maui, a branch of the 501(c)-3 nonprofit Arts Education for Children Group (www.aecg.org), provides opportunities for participation in high quality jazz music education and performances.
