During the Christmas season, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Saints invites people everywhere to Light The World by lifting and serving others in small and simple ways.  One unique, fun and memorable aspect of the Light the World initiative is the popular Giving Machines.  These customized vending machines allow the public to donate necessary products and services to those in need around the corner and worldwide.

We will be getting two Giving Machines on Maui this year.  They will be installed at the Whalers Village Shopping Center in Kaanapali from November 21, 2024, through the end of the year.  Our local partners providing services to the needy on Maui, Molokai and Lanai are:  The Maui Food Bank, Hui No Ke Ola Pono, The Friends of the Childrenʻs Justice Center, Imua Family Services and the Salvation Army.  We also have two global partners.  Machine items include a wide range of products and services, to include food, medical care, hygiene care and support for families & children in need.
