“Scales” is an original opera is adapted from an original story. A fantasy based on the island of Maui about Mo`o (Hawaiian dragons) that have special powers as conveyed through their kakau (tatoo).

Designed for youth with ALL YOUTH performers.

Established in 1993 this landmark is unique in the state and country. The Hawaii Youth Opera Chorus has for more than 23 years now provided our youth with a unique program.
