Adaptations Dance Theater Presents Bring it Home 2025

Adaptations Dance Theater (ADT) returns with its 7th annual summer performance series, Bring it Home, an exciting weekend of contemporary dance taking place August 15–17, 2025, at the historic ʻĪao Theater.
This year’s program features world premieres by choreographers Hallie Hunt, Charlotte Griffin, and Emily McKeon, performed by a cast of accomplished Maui-based and guest dance artists. Audiences can expect a bold and dynamic range of movement, storytelling, and artistic vision—highlighting Maui’s homegrown talent while building bridges with national voices in dance.
“In this season, each choreographer brings a distinct perspective rooted in exploration, collaboration, and a deep commitment to their craft,” says ADT Artistic Director Hallie Hunt. “We’re thrilled to offer Maui audiences a weekend of original work that honors both individual expression and collective artistry.”
To increase accessibility, ADT has partnered with the Wave of Harmony Foundation to provide 50 complimentary tickets for keiki, kūpuna, and community members facing financial barriers. These tickets can be selected online by choosing the “Keiki/Kūpuna – Provided with Aloha by the Wave of Harmony Foundation” option or requested at the box office.
