Now in its 5th year, Nutcracker Sweets returns to the Historic ʻĪao Theater for a holiday tradition the whole family will love!

Follow Clara on her magical adventure through the enchanted Land of Sweets in this charming Maui-made rendition of The Nutcracker. From the lively Christmas Eve party at the Stahlbaum home to the glittering kingdom of dancing snowflakes and the Sugar Plum Fairy, this heartwarming performance is filled with beauty, wonder, and holiday cheer.

Directed by Kathleen McKeon with her team of talented choreographers--Alannah Andersen, Jackie Dowsett, Katie Higuchi, Ali McKeon and Camille Romero-- with costumes and party scene direction by the illustrious Kathleen Schulz. This shared production features theatrical performances by many of Maui's favorite actors as well as showcasing the talents of 50+ ballet dancers.
