This is a permanent/full time position and entitles the new hire to federal health benefits, retirement with matching contributions, and paid annual and sick leave.

$42,528 – $55,287/yr

Duties

• Collect, deposit, track, and manage fee revenue and donations at the park entrance fee booth.
• Serve as a front-line, uniformed NPS representative — answering visitor questions on recreation, interpretive services, concessions, campgrounds, and trails.

Qualifications

• Specialized Experience: 1 year at GS-04 level with funds handling, financial software, fee collection/accounting, sales equipment (registers, calculators), and fund accountability.
• Education Alternative: 4 years of study beyond high school toward a bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination with experience (transcripts required)

Conditions

• Valid driver's license required
• Uniform required (allowance provided)

• Filled under the Field Unit Local Hiring Authority
