Description:
Assesses, develops, implements, and monitors patients’ nutritional needs for delivery of comprehensive nutrition care services. Plans, develops, and participates in providing nutrition information through educational program and nutrition handouts. Assists with planning, development, and implementation of department programs, policies, and goals.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience
Six months related experience or successful completion of training program (pre-hire, post-hire, or on-the-job) in area of specialty, if applicable.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in food and nutritional sciences or related field.
Accredited Dietetic Internship (DI) by the American Dietetic Association (ADA).
License, Certification, Registration
Basic Life Support required at hire
Registered Dietitian from American Dietetic Association
