We protect nearly 33,000 residential and commercial customers.Role Overview The Fire Technician provides fire alarm system installation, which requires low voltage wiring, testing and troubleshooting on the systems, and compliance with local codes.Status: Full-Time, Non-exemptDuties and Responsibilities:
Install and wire fire alarm system per local building and fire code
Read, understand, and follow blueprints
Conduct a proper test and inspection
Troubleshoot and service a fire alarm system
Communicate expectations with customers
Out-of-town travel/stay on occasion for this position. (Per diem and hotel is provided as needed)
Education and Experience:
HS Diploma or GED
1-2 years of fire alarm experience and low voltage experience preferred but not required
Valid Driver's License
Safe driving record
Must pass a background check and drug test
Ability to work 80% of the time in the field
