Equipment Technician & Production Specialist

Aloha!

We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Equipment Technician & Production Specialist to join our coffee community. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with machinery, has strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills, and takes pride in producing high-quality coffee products.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor coffee production, packaging, grinding, and related equipment
• Assist with equipment setup, adjustments, cleaning and routine maintenance
• Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues and communicate equipment concerns to management
• Perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance when qualified
• Monitor production equipment to ensure proper operation and product consistency
• Assist with roasting, grinding, packaging, labeling, and preparation of coffee products
• Follow production schedules
• Maintain accurate production and maintenance records when required
• Travel to customer locations to inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and service coffee and beverage equipment as needed
• Respond to customer equipment service requests and assessing machine performance and operational issues
• Provide professional and courteous customer service while representing the company at customer locations
• Coordinate with manufactures and suppliers regarding parts availability, pricing, shipping, warranties, and technical support

Skills

• Previous experience in production, manufacturing mechanical work, equipment maintenance, or a related field preferred
• Coffee industry experience is a plus but not required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment
• Ability to learn and operate specialized coffee production equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift and move products and materials as required
