Under the general direction of the Program Director and Medical Director, the Transcriptionist is responsible for transcribing medication orders and medication dispensing, maintaining written records of consumers’ vital signs and sick calls, and coordinating consumers’ medical appointments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide CIWA-AR assessments, vital signs, etc., on all clients entering ICSP/LCRS Program and/or Residential Program, and train staff for the same.
2. Review admission physical examinations on all clients entering the ICSP/LCRS Program.
3. Complete TB examinations on all clients entering ICSP/LCRS and/or Residential Program, as well as for staff annual TB test requirements.
4. Complete all required forms and documentation in the client files of ICSP/LCRS clients.
5. Performs diagnostic evaluations and assessments on clients and their families as needed.
6. Facilitates (or co-facilitates) group, individual, and family counseling sessions as required for ICSP/LCRS/Residential clients.
7. Documents services and progress of ICSP/LCRS clients rendered during intake and screening interviews, counseling and therapy sessions, referrals,s and follow-up.
8. Presents information gathered from diagnostic evaluations and assists with quality assurance in treatment team meetings.
9. Provides supervision for clients in ICSP/LCRS and Residential treatment, as needed.
10. In concert with the Medical Director, oversees ICSP/LCRS medication procedures for Aloha House Inc. ICSP/LCRS/Residential Programs.
11. Participates in the development and revision of written curriculum for skill building and educational seminars of ICSP/LCRS clients, and for staff training, as needed.
12. Attend all required meetings, trainings, and supervision.
13. Adheres to Code of Ethics in Employee Handbook.
14. Adheres to Agency policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

CERTIFICATE/LICENSE/REGISTRATION:
1. Current RN State of Hawaii license.
2. CPR/FA Certification
3. Current driver’s license, current car insurance, clean traffic abstract, and criminal abstract
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
1. RN. BSN preferred.
2. Minimum of one (1) year of paid work experience in a drug/alcohol treatment program working with chemically dependent persons, co-dependents, and family members, including children and youth, is preferred.
3. One (1) year of experience working in a detoxification program is preferred.

Pay Rate: $45.00 Per Hour.
