JOB DUTIES [Are To]:
Oversees the kitchen staff and ensures the line and prep team is operating
properly
Purchases food and kitchen supplies
Prepares food according to presentation standards
Maintains Food Cost 30% or below
Proficient in Microsoft office and basic computer knowledge.
Controls costs and ensuring proper quantities are utilized. Any surplus or
leftovers are being used properly
Completes kitchen operational requirements by scheduling and assigning
employees
Maintains kitchen staff by recruiting, selecting, and training employees
Maintains kitchen staff job results through coaching, counseling, and disciplining
employees
Maintains a clean and safe environment by implementing federal, state, and local
sanitation requirements. Instructing others in the use of kitchen utensils and
operations of kitchen equipment. Completes monthly sanitation inspections,
check and maintains all food safety logs.
Maintains a clean, sanitized and presentable kitchen. Upholds cleanliness
standards amongst all cooks and kitchen staff.
