Under the direction of the Program Manager, responsible for maintaining consumers’ charts for crisis services (CS) and Community-Based Case Management (CBCM) services through the Adult Mental Health Services contract and Maui Counseling Group clinic files. Performs basic clerical tasks, such as systematically arranging letters, inputting data, memoranda, invoices, and other indexed documents according to an established system.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Maintain organized filing systems for Crisis, Case Management, Psychiatric, and Therapy services, including creating new charts, completing daily printing, filing, and scanning closed charts
2. Maintain up-to-date forms in appropriate locations and eliminate outdated or unnecessary materials, destroying them or transferring them to inactive storage according to file maintenance guidelines and/or legal requirements.
3. Find and retrieve information from files in response to requests from authorized users.
4. Provide secondary coverage for the following duties:
a. Verifying patient insurance
b. Confirming next-day client appointments
c. Assisting with provider schedules, including new appointments, cancellations, and adjustments
d. Serve as phone support by answering incoming calls and checking/responding to voicemails throughout the day.
5. Attend all required meetings, trainings, and supervision.
6. Adheres to Code of Ethics in Employee Handbook.
7. Adheres to Agency policies and procedures

Rate of Pay $20.00 per hour.
