The Beach/Sales Alaka'i (Agent) - Hybrid will be responsible for selling activities, tours, merchandise, and rentals from the Beach Hale. Must possess competent computer skills with prior cash handling experience and knowledge of Maui Island culture. Must also be able to do Beach Alaka'i duties such as set up cabanas, conduct snorkeling and SUP lessons, water safety skills, and be able to carry 100 lbs. Basic knowledge of Hawaiian cultural and natural history, Hawaiian language, marine biology, and weather and ocean dynamics is a plus! The candidate for this position will also perform duties on the beach including (but not limited to): setting and breaking down beach and lawn accommodations, providing instructions on the use of all ocean gear, and lead/assist with ocean activities, etc. Must be a strong swimmer.
