Aloha! We are seeking for a Warehouse Manager who brings the same care to running a smooth operation as we bring to everything we produce.
This is a hands-on leadership role that requires being present on the floor with an established team. Ensuring orders are accurately being distributed in a timely manner while building a positive work environment by encouraging growth and motivation toward team member. Open communication, respect, and professionalism is to be displayed among the company and employees. Able to manage fast-paced production work and problem solving on the spot.
Expectations in the Warehouse: Leading the Team
Hire, mentor, and develop a warehouse team that is motivated, accountable, and supported
Set clear expectations and work schedules that keep things running smoothly
Keep your team up to speed on safety and food handling standards (SQF, HACCP, GMP)
Thrive in continuous improvement and familiarize what is successful and what requires improvement
Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
Leading the Warehouse:
Oversee all daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, order pick-ups, fulfillment, and delivery
Implement process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency, reduce errors, and optimize space utilization within the warehouse.
Ensure inventory system is being used with training and data integrity
Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff and supervisors, providing guidance on best practices in warehouse management and safety protocols.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards through regular training sessions and safety audits.
Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Coordinate warehouse distribution efforts, ensuring efficient materials handling, heavy lifting safety practices, and proper use of forklifts and mechanical equipment.
Inventory Accuracy:
Create and maintain UPC codes, labels, etc. for all required orders
Lead end-of-month inventory counts with accuracy and attention to detail
Ensure wholesale orders are fulfilled
Oversee specialty packaging production that is to be followed by the company's Standard Operating Procedure
Physical Requirements:
This is an active, on-your-feet role. Please see the following:
Standing and moving consistently throughout the shift
Reaching, bending, pulling, and pushing as part of regular tasks
Occasionally lifting up to 40 to 50 pounds with lighter loads more frequently
Strong visual acuity for detail-oriented work
What We Require:
3+ years of leading teams in a warehouse, distribution, or similar operational setting
Strong communication skills, connecting clearly with your team and across departments
Able to operate on Microsoft Office, Excel spreadsheet, Word document, emails, etc.
Food handler & forklift certification is a great addition
Have data-friendly mindset. Noticing trends, spot issues, and useful information to make formal decisions
Strong problem-solving mindset and creating a track system during heavier operational times
Commitment to correct issues and display teaching for the team, customers, and the products
Required License/Certification:
Forklift Certification (Preferred)
Food Handler Certification (Preferred)
Food Safety Certification (Preferred)
