Maui Students to Present Work in Soil Science
The Haleakalā Chapter of the Maui Farmers Union United will feature a presentation by seven Maui Montessori students in grades six to eight. The presentation on how healthy soils aid in food growth will follow the monthly “locavore” potluck at the Ha‘ikū Community Center on Tuesday, Feb. 24 at 6 p.m.
