The finale of Hawai‘i to the World takes place this Sunday as finalists compete for the $10,000 grand prize and the coveted title of season champion. Mauiʻs ʻĀinaty is among the season finalists.

Maui’s contemporary Hawaiian-island reggae band ʻĀinaty is set to release their newest single, “Lover’s Rock,” on Friday, Oct. 17, 2025. This fun and playful song takes listeners on a nostalgic journey through the early stages of love, blending romance with heartfelt emotion.

Today marks the start of the 98th Maui County Fair, returning after six years. The event features E.K. Fernandez rides, contests, food booths and other activities from Oct. 2-5, 2025, at the War Memorial Special Events Complex.

The Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement announced the eight Maui finalists who will compete at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center on Sunday, June 29, for Hawai‘i to the World Television Talent Competition. These artists were selected for their exceptional talent and deep connection to Hawai‘i’s cultural heritage.

Hawaiʻi’s own, Kamalei Kawaʻa, made his mark on national television as a Top 20 finalist on NBC’s “The Voice” (Season 25) and is now stepping into a new chapter of his musical journey. The Maui-born artist debuts his island reggae band, ʻĀinaty, and the release of their debut single, ʻĀinaty.
