Hawaiʻi to Celebrate 115th Year of Arbor Day by Distributing Thousands of Trees on Nov. 7

The DLNR Division of Forestry and Wildlife’s Kaulunani Urban and Community Forestry Program and its partners will celebrate the state’s annual tradition of planting and giving away trees in their 115th year of celebrating Arbor Day in Hawaiʻi.

Maui Tree Giveaway Among Many Planned Statewide

This Saturday, about a thousand trees will be given away at the Maui Nui Botanical Gardens in honor of Hawaiʻiʻs 51st annual Arbor Day. 

Arbor Day Event to Giveaway 1,000 Native Trees

Trees will be provided until supplies last. Local nurseries will also be selling native and non-native plants.
