#Big NW swell

The latest big northwest swell is on the decline, but it provided more than enough fireworks for the season premiere.

The much anticipated early season northwest swell has arrived. Look for conditions to get bigger throughout Wednesday.

Windy conditions prevail as the brown waters are slowly returning back to normal for the north shore of Maui. There is plenty of swell available also for the north facing shores if you don’t mind the 15-25mph+ winds tearing through the lineups.

The weekend saw the best run of surf so far this winter go down at Honolua Bay. The forecast is showing more swell from the northwest, though not quite as big as this past swell.

A big NW swell is to light up the upper west side of Maui as the rest of the north shore saw large and unruly surf, with more on the way, while the Legends of the Bay contest goes off at Honolua Bay.
