There is no tsunami threat to Hawaiʻi following a preliminary magnitude 6.9 (7.5M according to preliminary data released by the USGS) earthquake reported at 12:46 p.m. HST on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015 in the border region of Peru and Brazil.
