UPDATE: Brush Fire Burns 350 Acres Above Kāʻanapali

Firefighters continued fire patrols at the brush fire in Kāʻanapali today, but have not called it extinguished yet according to Maui Fire Services Officer Edward Taomoto.

UPDATE: 60 Acre Puʻukoliʻi Brush Fire 100% Contained

A 60-acre brush fire in Puʻukoliʻi was called 100% contained and under control at 6:20 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014. Maui fire officials say crews will continue conducting mop up operations through out the day.
