The new flights are expected to boost visitor arrivals from China by 37% in 2014, provide an estimated $81.06 million in annual visitor spending, and $8.47 million in state tax revenue for Hawaiʻi.

The flight will provide $80.4 million in visitor spending and $8.6 million in state tax revenue annually.

The news comes as progress is evaluated on an executive order issued by the president earlier this year that called for a 40% increase in non-immigrant visa processing capacity in China and Brazil, and shortening wait times for personal interviews to three weeks or less.
