The Hawaiʻi State Department of Health reported 1,273 new COVID-19 cases for the week of Sept. 29-Oct. 5, 2022. There were eight COVID-19 deaths this week, one more than what was reported last week. 

Sept. 22-28, 2022: 7 deaths, 12,755* new infections *(includes 10,995 historic reinfections and 800 historic cases as a result of deduplication and cleaning of historic data).

The Hawaiʻi State Department of Health reported 1,343new COVID-19 cases for the week of Sept. 8-15, 2022, which is 128 more cases than the previous week. The number of “active” cases statewide over two weeks decreased to 2,300 down by 395 cases.

The Hawaiʻi State Department of Health reported 1,215 new COVID-19 cases for the week of Sept. 1-7, 2022, which is 562 less cases than the previous week. There were 11 new COVID-19 deaths reported this week in Hawaiʻi.

Maui Health’s vaccine clinic will administer the updated (bivalent) booster as soon as they are received, which could be as soon as Friday, Sept. 9, 2022.

The latest data represents the second consecutive drop in the weekly count for new infections, following nine consecutive weeks of increases. 

The state Department of Health is reporting a COVID-19 count of 4,249 new cases over the past week, and 10 new deaths.

The latest weekly count includes 109 cases on Maui, 107 on Hawaiʻi Island, 37 on Kauaʻi, three on Molokaʻi, -1 on Lānaʻi, and 56 out of state.  There are 883 new COVID-19 cases on Oʻahu.

The state Department of Health is reporting a COVID-19 count of 1,187 new cases over the past week, between March 24-30, 2022, and six deaths statewide.

Of today’s 92 cases, there are 75 cases identified as confirmed, and 17 probable cases were added to the count.  The confirmed cases included: 41 on O‘ahu (+12 probable); 12 on Hawai‘i Island (+5 probable); nine on Maui; eight on Kaua‘i; 0 on Molokaʻi; two on Lānaʻi; and five Hawai‘i resident diagnosed while out of state.

Of today’s 196 cases, there are 160 cases identified as confirmed, and 36 probable cases were added to the count.  The confirmed cases included: 95 on O‘ahu (+29 probable); 18 on Hawai‘i Island (-1 probable); 19 on Maui (+2 probable); 11 on Kaua‘i (+2 probable); 0 on Molokaʻi; two on Lānaʻi; and 15 Hawai‘i resident diagnosed while out of state (+4 probable).

Of today’s 166 cases, there are 134 cases identified as confirmed, and 32 probable cases were added to the count.  The confirmed cases included: 61 on O‘ahu (+22 probable); 19 on Hawai‘i Island (+5 probable); 16 on Maui (+5 probable); 11 on Kaua‘i; 0 on Molokaʻi; 0 on Lānaʻi; and 27 Hawai‘i resident diagnosed while out of state.

The latest data represents a total of 3,837 “active” cases statewide over two weeks. This is below the delta peak of 11,500. Maui County’s seven day average of cases is now 13.5 cases per 100,000. This is below the delta peak of 57.6 per 100,000 reported on Aug. 25, and the 412.1 per 100,000 reported on Jan. 21, 2022.

The latest data represents a total of 4,187 “active” cases statewide over two weeks. This is below the delta peak of 11,500. Maui County’s seven day average of cases is now 14.3 cases per 100,000. This is below the delta peak of 57.6 per 100,000 reported on Aug. 25, and the 412.1 per 100,000 reported on Jan. 21, 2022.

Of today’s 345 cases, there are 295 cases identified as confirmed, and 50 probable cases were added to the count.  The confirmed cases included: 197 on O‘ahu (+32 probable); 30 on Hawai‘i Island (+14 probable); 29 on Maui (+5 probable); 18 on Kaua‘i; 1 on Molokaʻi (-1 probable); one on Lānaʻi; and 19 Hawai‘i resident diagnosed while out of state.

Of today’s 311 cases, there are 247 cases identified as confirmed, and 64 probable cases were added to the count.  The confirmed cases included: 153 on O‘ahu (+42 probable); 28 on Hawai‘i Island (+13 probable); 34 on Maui (+4 probable); 18 on Kaua‘i (+2 probable); 0 on Molokaʻi; three on Lānaʻi; and 14 Hawai‘i resident diagnosed while out of state (+3 probable).

The latest data represents a total of 5,044 “active” cases statewide over two weeks. This is below the delta peak of 11,500. Maui County’s seven day average of cases is now 17.2 cases per 100,000. This is below the delta peak of 57.6 per 100,000 reported on Aug. 25, and the 412.1 per 100,000 reported on Jan. 21, 2022.

Todayʻs count includes two cases on Maui, 12 on Hawaiʻi Island, 10 on Kauaʻi, one on Molokaʻi, 0 on Lānaʻi, and 18 out of state.  There are 91 new COVID-19 cases on Oʻahu.
