The Hawaiʻi State Department of Health reported 1,095 new COVID-19 cases for the week of Dec. 22-28, 2022. There were three COVID-19 deaths this week. 

The Hawaiʻi State Department of Health reported 3,689 new COVID-19 cases for the week of July 28-Aug. 3, 2022, which is 386 less cases than the previous week.

The Hawaiʻi State Department of Health reported 4,381 new COVID-19 cases for the week of June 30 to July 6, 2022, which is 981 fewer cases than the previous week. There were 20 deaths. 

The state Department of Health is reporting a COVID-19 count of 1,736 new cases over the past week, between April 14-20, 2022. There were 17 new COVID-19 deaths reported over the past week.

Of today’s 166 cases, there are 134 cases identified as confirmed, and 32 probable cases were added to the count.  The confirmed cases included: 61 on O‘ahu (+22 probable); 19 on Hawai‘i Island (+5 probable); 16 on Maui (+5 probable); 11 on Kaua‘i; 0 on Molokaʻi; 0 on Lānaʻi; and 27 Hawai‘i resident diagnosed while out of state.

The latest data represents a total of 4,187 “active” cases statewide over two weeks. This is below the delta peak of 11,500. Maui County’s seven day average of cases is now 14.3 cases per 100,000. This is below the delta peak of 57.6 per 100,000 reported on Aug. 25, and the 412.1 per 100,000 reported on Jan. 21, 2022.

Of today’s 345 cases, there are 295 cases identified as confirmed, and 50 probable cases were added to the count.  The confirmed cases included: 197 on O‘ahu (+32 probable); 30 on Hawai‘i Island (+14 probable); 29 on Maui (+5 probable); 18 on Kaua‘i; 1 on Molokaʻi (-1 probable); one on Lānaʻi; and 19 Hawai‘i resident diagnosed while out of state.

Of today’s 311 cases, there are 247 cases identified as confirmed, and 64 probable cases were added to the count.  The confirmed cases included: 153 on O‘ahu (+42 probable); 28 on Hawai‘i Island (+13 probable); 34 on Maui (+4 probable); 18 on Kaua‘i (+2 probable); 0 on Molokaʻi; three on Lānaʻi; and 14 Hawai‘i resident diagnosed while out of state (+3 probable).

The latest data represents a total of 5,044 “active” cases statewide over two weeks. This is below the delta peak of 11,500. Maui County’s seven day average of cases is now 17.2 cases per 100,000. This is below the delta peak of 57.6 per 100,000 reported on Aug. 25, and the 412.1 per 100,000 reported on Jan. 21, 2022.

The latest data represents a total of 7,835 “active” cases statewide over two weeks. This is below the delta peak of 11,500. Maui County’s seven day average of cases is now 34.6 cases per 100,000. This is below the delta peak of 57.6 per 100,000 reported on Aug. 25, and the 412.1 per 100,000 reported on Jan. 21, 2022.

The latest data represents a total of 8,641 “active” cases statewide over two weeks. This is below the delta peak of 11,500. Maui County’s seven day average of cases is now 36.4 cases per 100,000. This is below the delta peak of 57.6 per 100,000 reported on Aug. 25, and the 412.1 per 100,000 reported on Jan. 21, 2022.

Hawai‘i’s COVID-19 deaths increased to 1,290, with 16 new deaths reported today, including: 13 on Oʻahu, and three in Maui County.

In Maui County, the seven day average for new daily cases dropped to 102. The countyʻs test positivity rate is now 8.8%, and the statewide positivity rate is now 8.4%.

As of 9 a.m. on Feb. 9, 2022, the latest data available, there are 22 people hospitalized in Maui County with COVID-19, dropping below both the 41 reported during the height of the delta surge in August 2021, and the previous omicron high of 56 reported on Jan. 28, 2022.  This includes nine vaccinated (including one boosted), and 13 unvaccinated. Of the 22 COVID-19 hospitalizations, two are in the ICU (both unvaccinated), and one is on a ventilator (unvaccinated).

There were 1,278 new COVID-19 cases today, including 139 in Maui County; and 18 deaths, including three on Maui.

Hawai‘i’s COVID-19 deaths increased to 1,204, with 10 new deaths reported today, including: eight on Oʻahu, and two in Maui County.

There are 3,392 new COVID-19 cases today; and four new COVID-19 deaths, including two on Hawaiʻi Island, and one each in Maui County, and on Oʻahu.

The state Department of Health is reporting a COVID-19 count of 4,789 new cases today, including 676 on Maui, 41 on Molokaʻi, and 17 on Lānaʻi. This surpasses the previous record high of 3,484 new cases set on Thursday, Dec. 30, 2021.
