Hawaiʻi Attorney General publishes 2025 statewide crime data showing 54,000 serious criminal offenses

Crime in Hawaiʻi declined by more than 10% in 2025 compared with the year before, according to statewide crime statistics.

MPD responded to 13 burglaries, 9 vehicle thefts and 23 vehicle break-ins in Maui County over a seven day period from April 2-8, 2017.
