Aug. 16, 2021 COVID-19 Update: 539 New Cases in Hawai‘i

Of today’s 539 cases, there were 529 cases identified as confirmed, and 10 probable cases were added to the count. The confirmed cases included: 368 on O‘ahu (+8 probable); 81 on Hawai‘i Island (-1 probable); 49 on Maui; 14 on Kaua‘i; Molokaʻi (+3 probable); and 17 in Hawai‘i residents diagnosed while out of state.

There were *1,167 additional COVID-19 cases in Hawai‘i on Friday, including 109 on Maui and six on Moloka’i.
