Update: Winter Weather Advisory Canceled for Maui, Still in Effect for Big Island Summits
The winter weather advisory has been canceled for the summit of Haleakalā on Maui (as of 9:52 a.m.), but remains in effect for the summits of Hawaiʻi Island through 6 p.m. The National Weather Service says the threat for winter weather on Maui has ended.
