Scholarship applications open for Cohort 7 of HACA’s value-added entrepreneur program

Hawai‘i Ag & Culinary Alliance (HACA) announced that applications are now open for Cohort 7 of the Cottage Industry to Commercial Enterprise Scholarship, a workforce and business development initiative designed to help Hawaiʻi’s value-added food entrepreneurs expand from small-batch production to commercial success. Applications are open now through Dec. 31, 2025. 

Kulahaven Farms, rainbow trout aquaponics farm to close at year’s end

Kulahaven Farms LLC, Hawaiʻi’s first, and only, rainbow trout aquaponics farm will be closing operations by the end of this year, the business announced.

Down to Earth Kahului Expands With Re-Opening Event

The expansion included a “major” renovation and a new total of 9,000 square feet of retail. Paula Fuga, Mike Love and Sam Gonsalves will perform at the event.
