The price of a dozen eggs in Honolulu spiked more than 11% in the past year, from $9.04 a dozen to $10.06. That’s according to new statistics compiled by the Department of Agriculture and Biosecurity, Market Analysis and News Branch. During that same span a dozen eggs from the US continent changed from $7.78 a dozen to $7.87, an increase of slightly more than 1%.
