Maui Air Releases Statement Days After Deadly Lānaʻi Crash

Maui Air and Volcano Air Tours released a statement today following the deadly plane crash on Lānaʻi on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, that claimed the life of a company pilot and two employees with the Maui Planning Department.

$6.4 Million Aircraft Rescue & Firefighting Station Dedicated on Lanai

“In addition to providing a modern aircraft rescue and fire fighting facility at Lanai Airport, the project provided a needed economic boost,” said Department of Transportation Director Glenn Okimoto.
